About the studio.
A solo designer-engineer making software that earns its keep.
I'm Muhammad Hany — designer, engineer, and operator. I started MENA-x in 2023 after a decade of building products inside other people's companies across the region.
MENA-x runs on a simple bet: small, sharp tools — built from the Middle East & North Africa — that respect their users will compound longer than tools that chase scale.
We work end-to-end. Same person designs the brand, the database schema, the pricing page, and the support replies. There's no waterfall, no specs going over the wall — the product is the artifact, and everything else exists to serve it. Solo founder, six products, no investors. We'd rather ship than pitch.
